Duckbill Suspenders The purpose-built Duckbill suspender arrangement (along with the Duckbill belt) is fundamental to our platform strategies. The Velcro®-backed suspenders allows proper, ergonomic and adjustable weight allocation of Duckbill hand tool, device and instrument modules. The suspender component of our platform strategy is most beneficial when the user is carrying more than 10 lbs of gear. It integrates AXIAlign™ and Power Zone Design™(PZD) principles to keep the user as erect as possible throughout the work day and reduces the number of bending, twisting, lifting and shearing events. Casual or sloppy tool weight allocation leads to neck, shoulder, back, hip and knee pain or MSD's (Muscular Skeletal Disorders). All of our suspenders are available in sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Big and Tall to fit users from 5'0"/100 lbs to 6'8"/350 lbs. Our suspender features include: Velcro®-backed vertical straps are adjustable and allow positioning of certain Duckbill modules anywhere on the vertical brace. Heavy duty engineered dorsal yoke distributes weight evenly and vertically rather than a straining shoulder and neck criss-cross design. Adjustable chest belt eliminates shoulder creep and allows an unbuckled belt to not lose tool load. Extra wide padded shoulder pads won't slide out of position. Non-metal suspender ends will never snap free of belt regardless of weight carried. Integrated yoke hook allows easy storage and retrieval. Models available with 3 rear struts for better weight distribution. Models avalable to work specifically with the 3M Turbo PAPR respirator system.
