Duckbill
Modules
for General Maintenance
Duckbill makes and supplies a
range of ingenious modules for general maintenance and industrial
use. While it's true that not every job in an
industrial/institutional/commercial arena is the same, it's
not true that ergonomics and smart design don't have a place
because they do. Not every user in every capacity
requires the same mix of hand tools, instruments and devices.
And not everybody needs to carry 15 16 pounds of
gearall day.
Even carrying 8 pounds of gear requires easy and ergonomic
access to your tools, along with protection from dust, grime,
grit, moisture, falls, drops and loss.
Our SPMM,
Agility
& MobilityMax
platforms and modules are engineered to minimize or eliminate
repetitive strain injuries.
Our entire line of modules are made with a synthetic material
that has proven to be stronger, lighter and more durable
than leather. Read more about it HERE.
Our modules for general maintenance gear is designed to
include:
- Engineering so as not to slide, rotate, hang
limply from the belt (or suspender), or move away
from the target position.
- Some modules can be mounted horizontally or vertically
depending on ergonomic requirements, user preference and/or
access frequency.
- Conventional tools like adjustable "monkey" wrenches,
keys, knives, pliers, pens, etc.
- Tool-specific holsters for "Crescent" type wrenches,
tin snips, landscape pruners and wire-cutters.
- Supplemental gear like lightweight gloves, ear plugs,
etc
- Logistical tools like PDA.s, Blackberry type devices,
condition-monitoring/detection gear.
- Utilization of Duckbill's patented MaxCon
docking technology.
