Duckbill SPMM EC™ Suspenders The purpose-built Duckbill suspender arrangement (along with the Duckbill SPMM EC belt) is fundamental to the Single Platform: Many Modules™ (Electrical Contractor) (SPMM EC™) strategy. The Velcro®-backed suspenders allows proper, ergonomic and adjustable weight allocation of the mission-critical assortment of Duckbill hand tool, device and instrument modules. The difference between these suspenders and the regular SPMM suspenders is the specially designed third support strut in the rear. This is designed with the electrical contractor in mind, who almost always has a need to carry a heavy cordless drill and other heavier tools. In concert with any of the the belt options, the suspender component of the Duckbill SPMM EC™ product is a professional grade, rugged and ergonomically sound tool carrying platform. It integrates AXIAlign™ and Power Zone Design™(PZD) principles to keep the user as erect as possible throughout the work day and reduces the number of bending, twisting, lifting and shearing events. Uninformed, casual or sloppy tool weight allocation leads to neck, shoulder, back, hip and knee pain or MSD's (Muscular Skeletal Disorders). Even twisting between the work and the tool cart or caddy is a rotary force that puts torsional stress on the spine. Simply lifting and carrying a bucket organizer full of tools puts an avoidable static strain on shoulders, neck and spine. And reaching up and down from work to bucket, and back again, only exacerbates the problem. Velcro®-backed vertical straps are adjustable and allow positioning of SPMM™ modules anywhere on the vertical brace. 3 support struts in the rear for extra support of heavy tools. Heavy duty engineered dorsal yoke distributes weight evenly and vertically rather than a simple criss-cross design that strains shoulder and neck muscles. Adjustable chest belt eliminates shoulder creep and allows an unbuckled belt without losing tool load. Extra wide padded shoulder pads are integrated in-place and won't slide out of position. Non-metal integrated suspender terminals will never snap free of belt regardless of weight carried. Replaceable suspender terminals. Integrated yoke hook allows easy storage and retrieval. Big and tall sizes available integrating three back straps for better weight distribution. NOTE: All of our suspenders are available in sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Big and Tall to fit users from 5'0"/100 lbs to 6'8"/350 lbs.
